"So in order to keep the whole life policies competitive they came up with what is known as "Participating Whole Life" Participating Whole Life has been around in Canada for over 150 years! Over this time dividends have been paid every year. In 2008 when the TSX was down -35% they paid over 7%! Is that competitive? Participating Whole Life has been around in Canada for over 150 years!

Over this time dividends have been paid every year. In 2008 when the TSX was down -35% they paid over 7%! Is that competitive?
