Mutual Fund Manager Gives Back His Fees

Francis Chou (who I’ve heard is one of the nicest guys in the industry) is something else. The Chou Europe fund which was launched in 2003, has not made money for unit-holders for the past six years and change – which is not that unusual for a fund given what’s just happened in the markets. But what IS unusual is that Chou is giving back all the management fees he’s ever charged during that time.

You can read more about it here.

Bravo Francis!
