What kind of investors are taking on this type of currency carry trade? Hedge funds, institutional investors? It's easy to see how the average person can easily be over confident and at a large disadvantage as an active investor with only knowledge of a fraction of the information at play in the market. I haven’t heard of this before, it really gives a great example of the average person not having any idea of the activities at play in the market.

What kind of investors are taking on this type of currency carry trade? Hedge funds, institutional investors?
